Fall 2023 - The SpongeBob Musical Youth Edition

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea and became the hottest star on Broadway? Why, it's SpongeBob SquarePants! This youth edition of the hit Broadway musical, brilliantly adapted from the iconic Nickelodeon series, is specially tailored for young actors. Join SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, and Mr. Krabs on another great adventure through Bikini Bottom.

Rehearsals are held on Sundays from 2:00-4:30pm beginning on Sunday, August 13th, 2023 at Seminole State College Sanford / Lake Mary Campus (100 Weldon Blvd.)

Tech Week October 29 - November 2, 2023 and Performances November 3, 4, and 5 at Eastmonte Civic Center in Altamonte Springs.

Spring 2024 - Moana Junior

This thrilling and heartwarming coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage. Moana and the legendary demigod Maui embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within. With empowering messages of bravery and selflessness, Moana JR. is sure to bring out the hero within each of us.

Rehearsals are held on Sundays from 2:00-4:30pm beginning on Sunday, January 7th, 2024 at Seminole State College Sanford / Lake Mary Campus (100 Weldon Blvd.)

Tech Week April 28 - May 2, 2024 and Performances May 3, 4, and 5 at Eastmonte Civic Center in Altamonte Springs.

Tuition Policy – A full refund, minus any credit card processing fees, will be granted if the WRP Board is notified in writing at least 30 days prior to the first rehearsal date. Refunds minus a $50 registration fee will be granted if the WRP Board is notified in writing after the 30-day deadline but prior to the registration deadline of 10 days before the first rehearsal. No refunds will be granted after the registration deadline. Withdrawals due to medical emergencies or relocation will be addressed by the WRP Board on an individual basis. Any refund requests for Spring 2024 registrations purchased as part of the Double Feature offer will exclude the discount provided.
Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

In the event that the minor listed above has an illness or accident requiring emergency medical care, hospitalization, medication or surgery while participating in any of the programs of Wekiva River Players, Inc., I hereby give my authorization to staff members or approved volunteers of Wekiva River Players, Inc. to act or to approve or to consent to emergency medical or surgical treatment and/or hospital care of the above minor to be rendered under the general or special supervision of any licensed physician or surgeon. It is understood that this authorization is given in advance of any specific diagnosis or emergency treatment being rendered.

In addition, I agree to release and discharge Wekiva River Players, Inc., its Officers, Directors and Agents thereof, from any claims, demands or liability of damage arising from my child’s participation in programs sponsored by Wekiva River Players, Inc. I hereby assign and grant to Wekiva River Players, Inc., or those authorized to act on their behalf, the right and permission to copyright and/or publish photographs or video likeness of me (or my minor student(s)) as set forth in this agreement. Wekiva River Players, Inc. may use in whole, or as part of a composite, the reproduction thereof for promotion in any manner, including on the Wekiva River Players, Inc. website and social media accounts.
