CRIS Adaptive's AWE program is heading to Haida Gwaii Sept 9-15th for a 7 day all-inclusive, accessible outdoor adventure trip. There will be 2-full days of world-class fishing with a private guide and tour boat, 1 day of guided sea-kayaking, hiking in Naikoon Provincial Park, and a cultural boat tour in Gwaii Haanas National Park. Accomodations booked at Alaskaview Lodge, oceanside cabins.
The West Kelowna Professional Firefighter's Charitable Society will select 1-2 lucky individuals, who will be invited along as sponsored participants on the trip. All accomodation, food, trip logistics and on-island transportation are covered in the trip cost. Participants are responsible for booking their transportation to and from the island (either ferry or flights).
Applicants of all ages can apply. The person must be living with a disability (physical, cognitive, sensory, developmental, etc.). We are searching for participants that love to hunt, have a zest for adventure and are looking for an adventure of a lifetime!
