Join local artist Naomi Schliesman for a Mixed Media workshop series! In this session, students grades 5-8 will learn vocabulary, 2D and 3D elements of design and develop technical skills with problem solving. Through hands-on exploration, students will learn different techniques of using a variety of materials, such as acrylic paint, watercolor, colored pencils, clay, printmaking and mixed media with art movements. From making drawings and self portraits to building rock/wood sculptures to creating a casting of their own hand, students will gain an understanding of new skills used in the creative process.

*Cost: $150 (supplies included)

Multi-student discount: $10 off registration per additional student. Discount will be automatically applied.

Class will take place in the classroom located in the lower level at Kaddatz Galleries (111 W. Lincoln Ave. Fergus Falls, MN 56537).
