Bids are executed in competition with the audience on an alternate basis as if the bidder (you) were present and your purchase will be obtained at the lowest bid possible. Due to the uncertainties of bidding, an item may sell to the audience for the same amount authorized by your absentee bid.
Absentee bids are confidential and bidding. In the event two absentee bids authorize the same bid amount, the item will be awarded to the bidder whose absentee form was received by American Heart Association first.
Absentee bids are accepted and/or executed at the discretion of the American Heart Association and at the risk of the bidder. Absentee bidding is a convenience for bidders not present at auction and we are not responsible for any errors or omissions in connection therewith. Upon a winning bid by an absentee bidder, the American Heart Association will notify the absentee bidder of the winning bid via phone or email.
If it is necessary to change or cancel your absentee bid, your request must be received by May 15, 2023 and subsequently acknowledged. Submit changes or cancellations to Heidi.Arnold@heart.org.
