ACT Work Groups are a place where stakeholders from Big I member agencies (ALL Big I member agencies are already members of ACT!), partner carriers, and partner technology providers come together in a non-competitive setting to develop tools and resources to help agencies leverage technology to enable their unique business strategies.
ACT would love your participation on any of our ACT work groups. We need and value input from all industry stakeholders but particularly appreciate the involvement of agents as they are who we are working to help.
Here is a quick overview of the current groups:
Security Issues - This group is currently working on a refresh of ACT’s Cyber Guide 3.0 (a product created by this work group in the past). Security Issues currently meets virtually, monthly for 45-60 minute collaborative sessions.
Customer Experience is currently meeting every other month and is in the process of deciding their next objective. In the past, this group created a Customer Experience Lifecycle website for agents to find tools and resources that can help them improve the experience they provide their clients at various touchpoints. That site is getting a look and feel refresh that should be completed soon.
Data Strategy is a work group we will be launching later this year. Stay tuned for more on that!
Emerging Technology Trends - This work group launched as an in-person "open mic" session at Accelerate, Powered by NetVU (the Vertafore users conference) in Austin, TX in early May 2023. We will be scheduling virtual calls soon.
