Camps Details

Guitar and dance classes occur simultaneously, so the student will pick either guitar OR dance.

Guitar Class with Polly Maynard
Discover the basics of acoustic, guitar-including how to play melodies, bass lines, and chords in both solo and ensemble settings. Learn how to read guitar tablature, experiment with improvisation, and write original songs. Guitar provided; children may bring their own instruments if desired. Limit 10 per class.
6 - 8 year old: 9:30 - 10:30
9 - 12 year old: 10:45 - 11:45

Dance Class with Libby Quigg
Let the music move you. Dance is expressing yourself through movement. Kids will learn about a variety of dance styles from ballet to jazz funk to musical theater. They will experiment with choreography. They will work on flexibility and strength through body conditioning.

Art Class

Learn the basics of art with Denton ISD art teacher and past GDAC exhibiting artist Angelia Ford.
