Rising Thunderbirds are 12th grade Thornwood High School students eligible for 2026 graduation. These students are leaders on campus and in their respective neighborhoods. They have contributed to the TWHS community academically and socially.

The Thornwood Class of 2008 has founded the Joyce Brooks Thornton Township Scholarship to support the other high schools within Thornton Township. The students at these schools are Thornwood's peers, competitors, tutors and friends.
