• EDI Grant Application

  • This grant, sponsored by the NDLA EDI Committee, provides funding for efforts to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives in North Dakota. The grant may be used for conference funding, increasing diversity in library collections, conducting diversity audits, hosting training for library staff on EDI, hosting library programming or speakers, or participation in any other work that may benefit equity, diversity, and inclusion in the library community of North Dakota. Applicants must have been active members of NDLA for a period of at least one year. Grant recipients must agree to the publication of an evaluative report of how they used their grant funds in The Good Stuff. Application deadline is December 27, 2025. Applications will be assessed against our EDI Grant Rubric.

  • Please note that this grant may not be used to cover ongoing operating expenses such as staff hours during training. It can, however, be used to pay a honorarium to bring in a trainer or speaker, or for related expenses such as providing refreshments during a program.
