The Career Development Association of New Zealand (CDANZ) is excited to hold the 2023 International CDANZ Conference from Wednesday 11 October to Friday 13 October 2023 at the magnificent Viaduct Events Centre, overlooking the beautiful Waitematā Harbour in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, New Zealand. This is our first bi-annual conference working together with our Australian partners, the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA).

We are proud to be hosting the first kanohi ki te kanohi / face to face international conference in New Zealand, a conference that is for practitioners, and by practitioners, with valuable input from other professionals, experts and researchers.

After years of navigating the uncertainty, isolation, and unprecedented challenges of a pandemic that has tipped our whānau/family, communities and the world on its axis, the 2023 conference is focused on bringing us back together through:

    Tūhononga | Connection
Connecting career development professionals and our sector, sharing our stories and creating strong relationships.

    Mahi Tahi | Collaboration
Collaborating with other practitioners and industry peers to share ideas, tools to take away, learning about current research, industry knowledge and collaborating as an industry body to support the future of the career development industry.

    Hapori | Community
Strengthen and support each other to provide improved services and practice for those we help on their career development journey.

This Call for Abstracts is for both Concurrent Presentations (45 mins) and Workshops (90 mins)
