REGISTRATION ~ Core Training for Resource Families Web Based Course
Core Training for Resource Families is the beginning of your journey to become a licensed foster parent in Alaska. This initial training for foster and adoptive families you for what to expect from the system (the professional duties of a resource parent) and what to expect from the children (the day to day responsibilities of parenting traumatized children.)

ABOUT THIS WEB BASED COURSE: Use this link to register for the web based version which allows you to go at your own pace and complete your Core requirement within a ten week period. You must have your own email address and online access. You must attend Resource Family orientation prior to registering for Core training. Our online Core Training course is comprised of 10 Units. You will be connected with an instructor who will monitor your pself-paced rogress, answer questions and encourage you along the way.
