"Welcome to Aledo" Design RFP
The Building Owner at 110 S. College Ave, Aledo, IL is seeking a design for a new mural on the side of their building. The design must include the following message, “Welcome to Aledo.” The design must be digital and scalable to 80 ft x 12 ft. The building owner is looking for timeless imagery that welcomes people to the community while paying tribute to the rich historical district and agricultural heritage. The letters in the message should fit the feel of downtown Aledo, IL while not being blocky or graffiti style lettering. The message/mural does not need to cover every square inch, but make the wall feel full. This design will be projected and painted by a local artist. The artist creating the selected submission will be credited for their design in all publications and on the mural, along with the artist who paints the mural. The artist who creates the selected design will be paid $500.
