BOOTH INFO
Size: 10’ x 10’ (provide your own table, chair, backdrop, sides, roof, etc.). No electricity provided.
VENDOR FEES DETAILS
- $5 City of Tacoma vendor fee is included in all fee pricing.
- 6th Ave Business District members get a 20% discount.
- Pre Approval by Vendor Committee required to participate as an Artist in Action. Please email letter of interest to aoavendorin@gmail.com
- Payments of check or money order are to be written to “6th Avenue Business District”. Please include payment with your application.
BASIC VENDOR INFORMATION
- All vendors will be screened by committee for vendor selection prior to approval. Approved vendors will receive a letter with load-in information and booth number.
- Once approved, the vendor fee is non-refundable regardless of the reason for requested cancellation by the vendor. Festival is rain or shine.
- Set-up is at 8:30 am – 10:30 am; all vehicles are required to be off the street by 10:00 a.m. Festival begins at 12 p.m.
- Tear-down starts at 5 p.m. Please do not begin tear-down until 5 p.m. or you may not be approved to participate in the festival the following year.
- Street reopens to vehicle traffic at 7 p.m. Vendors who impede street reopening may be fined.
- Alcoholic beverages, loud music, and smoking are not allowed in vendor booths.
- We ask that vendors report total sales on exit surveys. No percentage is taken; this information is used to help evaluate the success of the event.
- Access to electricity is not guaranteed.
- ADA compatible cord/cable covers required for all foot traffic areas. Vendors must provide any required materials and are mandated to abide by all ADA requirements.
- We ask that all vendors promote their participation at Art on the Ave via social media prior to and during the festival.
- Only handcrafted/original or unique art and products are permitted (commercial/imported items not permitted).
NON-PROFIT VENDOR
- No electricity is available.
- Non-profit vendors are not permitted to sell items from their booths.
FOOD VENDORS
- Proper Health Department Temporary Food establishment (TFE) Permit must be obtained and issued by the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department. To obtain a TFE permit, call (253) 798-6456.
- All food workers must obtain a food worker card and have a copy of the card posted in the booth. To obtain a food worker card, call (253) 798-6475.
- A copy of the TFE submitted to Vendor Coordinator by June 30, 2013. All Pierce County Health Department requirements and fees are to be met and paid by the vendor.
- When applying for a food vendor booth for Art on the Ave, please provide a menu and price list of items you wish to sell from your food booth. Items sold that are not listed on your menu could result in removal from the festival and forfeiting your booth fee. Art on the Ave reserves the right to restrict certain food items or beverages due to duplication or contractual exclusivity in the case of sponsorships or other criteria or arrangements.
LIABILITY
- Art on the Ave and 6th Avenue Business District assumes no liabilities against physical harm, loss, theft, or damage for art work and other belongings for the duration of the festival. Therefore necessary arrangements must be made by the vendor.
Proof of Liability Insurance naming 6th Avenue Business District as “Additional Insured” is required from all Food Vendors. A copy of this liability insurance amendment must be submitted to the Vendor Coordinator by June 30, 2023.
Other vendors will be required to provide proof of insurance or sign a waiver acknowledging acceptance of liability should physical harm, loss or damage occur.
