Parent Consent for Athletic Travel

Give my permission for my child to attend and participate in track and field meets associated with the Alberta Speed School Track Club. Coaches and agents of the Alberta Speed School Track Club are hereby given supervisory authority during the entire season indicated above for the duration of each individual activity and for any pre-or post-competition arranged travel.

I understand that in certain instances private vehicles are used for the transportation of the athletes to various track and field meets throughout the province. In these instances, coaches use their own vehicles or rentals and expose their own insurance for the benefit of the club including my child and the activity. I hereby give my permission for my child to travel to all of the track & field competitions in a privately owned or rented vehicle operated by the coach. I except all legal responsibilities for any bodily harm, injuries, or potential death caused by the coach driving the vehicle in an accident either at the fault of the coach driving the vehicle or by another party.
