                  Government Court Filing FeeThis is the mandatory government court filing fee in order to file for a Divorce in Ontario. This will be paid when we file your documents in court and a confirmation/receipt from the court will be provided to you via email.

                  Commissioning and Swearing Your AffidavitsSome of the divorce documents will need to be sworn in front of a commissioner of oaths. We will schedule you for a brief video call in order to swear and sign your Affidavits remotely.

                  Parenting and Child Support Arrangements (if required)We will outline your parenting and child support arrangements in your Affidavits in order to satisfy the court that appropriate measures that are in the best interest of the children are in place.

                  Filing Your Documents Our staff will be electronically filing your divorce documents with the Superior Court of Justice. We will provide you with a confirmation once the documents have been filed and accepted by the court.

                  Final Divorce OrderWe will provide you with your final Divorce Order via email. This court-issued document is proof that you are divorced.

                  Divorce Certificate (optional)Once your Divorce Order is granted, you may apply for a Divorce Certificate 30 days later. Although this document is optional, it is required if you would like to get remarried in Ontario. We will draft the Divorce Certificate, submit it to the court and provide you with a court-sealed copy.
