This year we are offering you AGAIN a choice to book your ferry travel direct (with our exclusive deal codes) which can save you money and give you direct flexibility to make alterations to your crossing with amenment charges.

Alternative, we can arrange to have the ferry travel tickets booked for you.

Ferry prices

At the 2023 BeachRoc, Trouville Hotel with their links to Wighlink Ferries were able to provide us with a LINK that save over 50% of the normal rates if you went Direct.

Those who booked direct booked direct got a Ferry crossing for just £69.30 for up to 4 passengers in a car!!
Crossing were from Portsmouth or Lymington.

Its Estimated we should budget at £80 (cost price) per car & occupants for 2024 booking direct with a special Trouville link and confirmed price, we will get towards the end of 2023.

The booking process is so simple to do direct with Wightlink.

 

If you wish the hotel to do this for you please add £24 per ticket  to the "ticket cost price" to cover the cost of their time, involving MJRoc too in forwarding the ferry ticket.

In 2023, unfortunately the Red Funnel crossings were not as competitive as Wightlink and only provided a 15% discount link. We wait to see how they will approach 2024 pricing.

FERRY BOOKINGS

At our 2024 weekender, BeachRoc will now have two options for your ferry crossings.

1/ Book it yourself, very easy too at the cost price without admin fee (Link provided by hotel). Plus  you pick the the times you want and can make any time alterations at a later date.

2/ Ask that Trouville hotel to book it for you. Ferry Cost price + £24 admin fee.

 

However with any BeachRoc ferry bookings or special link, there are only a limited number of car spaces per crossing at hotel discounted pricing (and that all hotels on the IOW are collectively trying to possibly book the same times).

Up to 4 people per standard car up 5m length, 2.24 m high (supplements for larger vehicles)

  

BOOK THE FERRY YOURSELF- DIRECT

If you make a completely separate direct booking (by-passing BeachRoc) with either Ferry Company,  you will pay the "going rate", however you will have the flexibility to guarantee the ferry crossing times you want. BeachRoc will not be involved with your crossing.

 

EXTEND YOUR TIME ON THE ISLE OF WIGHT

This would also be for those who wish to extend their stay on the Isle of Wight. There could be ferry supplements depending on the length of the extended period, but this will be shown when you are trying to make a booking. We rececomend you make your own direct booking.

The Trouville Hotel will let us know in March 2024 of any rooms that maybe available for extra nights (these are rooms from other 4 days group bookings that have not been sold and the hotel can release for 1-4 day bookings for BeachRoc dancers). Alternatively book other options on the IOW.

A NOTE TO THOSE ON LATE FERRIES

AS DINNER IS FROM 6.30-8PM

* you will miss dinner at the hotel, sandwiches could be provided with advanced notification, by you one month before the event. If you have not advised, there will be no provisions and no cash refunds.

If you miss the ferry or there are delays at the Ferry Port, this is outside our control and if you miss the dinner slot, there is no compensation for missed meals.

A NOTE TO THOSE WHO MAY LEAVE THE EVENT ON SUNDAY NIGHT

AND MISS DINNER, and/OR SKIP BREAKFAST FOR AN EARLY FERRY.

If you CHOOSE to take the earlier Ferries as this is a Three Night weekender package, there is no compensation for any missed meals.

Two night packages may be available in the Royal Pier Hotel.

HOW WE INVOICE FOR BEACHROC 2024

One invoice is for the Hotel & Event Pass

a/ BeachRoc event (without Ferry) with initial £50pp* cash deposit (add £1 transfer admin fee). Due within 5 days of booking invoice arriving please.  Full payment due from 14/1/24.

No Ferry charges included.

 

If you wish MJRoc to book your Ferry as well as the Hotel & Event Pass

b/ Second Invoice.

BeachRoc Ferry Only Invoice, issued once we have your request to book the ferry and then payable on Invoice.

TROUVILLE HOTEL CAR PARK

Limited spaces only for guests of this Trouville hotel. NOW FULL ALLOCATED

2024 CHARGEABLE: £5 per day- £15. Plus £10 deposit for Key to car park.

It is a small car park, where cars are left all weekend and no access until Monday 8am.

There are other options to Park. 

Meters and Paid car parks.

Local town free parking areas.

Lucky free Draw for places will take place in Mid March 2024.

Nearer to the event, other parking options will be advised from Street Parking (Metered opposite the hotels or free areas in town) and IOW Council car parks.

Adding Optional Extra days to your BeachRoc Weekend, subject to availability

I am interested, if availability is possible, in extending my stay at the hotel, and note the hotel will invoice Lead Name directly.  We will not know of any available spaces until early March 2024. Please state what days you would like?

TROUVILLE HOTEL

Dates are subject to availability and can only be confirmed from late March 2024 by the hotel, when they inform BeachRoc. You pay the hotel direct once price and availability has been confirmed.

The reason is they prefer to sell a 4 night package rather than one or two nights. They have groups that attend a 4 night weekday organised break. Nearer the time when they have not filled their allocation (under contract) rooms are released and this when we can snap them up. If you do wish to book a 4 night stay prior to our event,  we will see if this can be confirmed early for you.

There are a few ways to pay, this will be covered in your invoice letter.

Non refundable deposits are £50pp. (+ £1 admin fee by transfer)
