Q2UA advances its mission through strategic partnerships with other organizations that are aligned with building critical infrastructure and advancing economic development for the benefit of the African continent and the African Diaspora.

To be considered for the labor pool that supports various projects and other organizations partnered with Q2UA, all applicants must:

1. Consent to and pay for criminal background check ($100)

2. Obtain and pay for the orientation and clearance process ($350)

3. Regularly attend Q2UA team meetings.

The Labor Pool clearance process is NOT required to join Q2UA as a regular volunteer; however, all volunteers are required to:

1. Submit to a criminal background check.

2. Pay for your monthly Microsoft Teams license through a $10/month subscription.

You may choose to begin the Labor Pool clearance process at any time if you are signing up only to volunteer for Q2UA.

I hereby authorize Q2UA Inc. and its designated agents or representatives to conduct a background check as part of my volunteer application process. I understand that this background check may include, but is not limited to, verification of my identity, criminal history, sex offender registry status, and any other records deemed relevant to my eligibility for a volunteer position. I acknowledge that Q2UA Inc. will use the information obtained solely for the purpose of determining my suitability for volunteer service. I further understand that a prior criminal conviction may not automatically disqualify me from volunteering, and each case will be reviewed based on its relevance to the responsibilities of the position.

Expenses for Background Check

Due to the sensitive nature of our mission, all volunteer meetings are hosted with a higher level of security than can be offered through Zoom. For that reason, we ask all volunteers to offset the expense of this security measure by committing to cover the cost of your Microsoft Teams license by committing to a monthly recurring membership fee of $10 per month.
