The seller guarantees that all vaccinations and wormings are up to date. A vaccination record is included with each puppy. The seller guarantees that the puppy is in good health when the puppy leaves breedercare. When the buyer receives the puppy, the buyer will have 72 hours to take the puppy to a veterinarian of buyer choice and have a health exam done to assure it is in good health. If upon examination the puppy is to be found to have a life-threatening illness or congenitaldefect, the breeder must be contacted and proof from only a licensed veterinarian must be sent to the breeder, directly from the veterinarian, by email within threebusiness days. Paperwork received directly from the buyer will not be accepted. The puppy must be returned at the buyer’s expense and a replacement puppy will be given as soon as one is available (shipment of the replacement puppy is at the buyer’s expense). Once the puppy has visited the vet for his/her exam, they will again need to visit the vet between the age of 10 weeks to 13 weeks for his/her second round of vaccinations. If the puppy does not receive his/her vaccinations in a timely manner, this contract will become void. Routine vet care is mandatory. Undocumented vaccines (vaccines given by buyer or other unlicensed party) and/or undocumented veterinary oversight of health care will render this contract void. The puppy is guaranteed for two years against fatal or life-altering congenital disease. If the dog dies within two years of purchase, a necropsy must be done at buyers’ expense to ascertain cause of death. The seller must be notified within five days from the time the problem is identified. If the puppy is born with a 100% proven congenital defect,the puppy will be replaced when a puppy is available. The diagnostic impression must clearly show it was genetic or it will not be covered. This guarantee does not include hip dysplasia. All dogs are AKC registerable and will be included in your puppy pack at eight weeks of age. If paperwork is late, this information will be disclosed prior to pick up. AKC paperwork completed by the buyer must include the breeder kennel name, Blessed By Danes, when the registration is filled out. This guarantee does not cover great dane medical conditions considered normal when breeding European bloodlines including, but not limited to, cherry eye, torsion of the stomach/bloat, temperament, infertility, fleas, ticks, and ear mites/infections. Undescendedtesticles, inguinal/umbilical hernias, or sarcoptic mange are not covered in this health guarantee. The above conditions are not congenital medical diseases. Undescended testicle and inguinal/ umbilical hernias will be disclosed before purchase. If the buyer chooses to not purchase due to a non-genetic condition, as listed above, the deposit will be placed on the next available puppy. Flea/tick and heartworm prevention is mandatory and must be provided to every Blessed By Danes puppy. Failure to provide the puppy with appropriate prevention will void this contract. When the buyerreceives the purchased puppy at eight weeks of age, thepuppy will be given the first dose of prevention and/or will be provided to buyer in the puppy pack. All puppies are born with parasites and will come dewormed at two, four, six, and eight weeks old, but it is always a possibility that parasites remain despite the recommended deworming guidelines. Deworming is provided four times prior to buyer purchase and fecal testing from the vet in included as apart of puppy health clearance. Kennel Cough is common when puppies travel and can be contracted when puppies are shipped or travel from one environment to another. Kennel cough is not life threatening and is not covered by the breeder. Kennel cough can progress to pneumonia, a life-threatening condition, if not examined and/or treated by a veterinarian.
There are no cash or credit refunds. A replacement puppy must be of equal value, or the buyer must pay the difference. It is understood that the replacement puppy does not have to be from the exact parents. There is no guarantee that the buyer will be able to show or breed. The buyer shall not allow the puppy/dog to whelp a litter of puppies before the age of two. This includes siring of male dogs/puppies, either intentionally or accidentally. If the dog is bred or used as a sire before the age of two,the contract will be void. This guarantee is non-transferable to future owners of the dog. There is a strict return policy and if the buyer is unable to keep the dog, regardless of reason. The dog must be returned to breeder. No money will be exchanged. Under no circumstances should the buyer to take the acquiredpuppy/dog to a rescue, shelter, or pound.
This contract is only binding between the listed parties and no part of this agreement is transferable to any other party. All parties undersigned agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement. Buyer agrees that any and all legal disputes that may arise regarding your puppy/dog and contract will be handled in the current county of residence for the Breeder/seller. If court finds one provision unenforceable or voids parts, the other parts remain in full force.
