• IAITC 2023-2024 
    Teacher Book Grant Application

    Grant Amount: up to $250.00

    Apply for this grant for the opportunity to receive ag-accurate books for your
    classroom library to integrate agriculture into a variety of curriculum areas.

    How it Works:

    1. Select one of the book grant categories.
    2. Choose any combination of books within that category up to $250.00.
    3. Submit this application by Friday, October 20, 2023.
    4. Successful grant recipients will:
      • Be notified via email by November 10, 2023.
      • Submit a Funding Agreement, signed by you and your building  principal, by December 8, 2023. Failure to do so will forfeit the grant.
      • Receive your books shipped directly to your school.
      • Submit a Final Grant Report by Friday, May 31, 2024, to tell us how you used your books.
         

    The Fine Print:

    • Classroom teachers and librarians in the state of Illinois are eligible to apply.
    • Each educator may submit only one grant application.
    • Book grants may be awarded to more than one educator in the same school.
    • High school ag teachers may apply with an elementary teacher if their students/FFA members are working with a specific classroom.
    • You may contact your county Ag Literacy Coordinator for help with this application.
