You understand the following may be asked of you while fostering and agree to complete these tasks/items if needed:
*
This field is required.
Should the dog not be suitable to your expectations/home/lifestyle and you wish to cease fostering you understand the dog's return to rescue will be your responsibility. Ie: driving them back to their previous home/next foster home. You agree the dog will remain in your care until a fitting placement can be found. HSD will do everything they can to ensure a plan is made quickly and communication is at the forefront.
You agree to support your new rescue dog by attending any vet visits required while in your care. Vet costs to be covered by HSD.
You understand that all dogs come with structured training plan. Our training team is available for any supports needed and you will call on them for help and advice. Our training parameters are positive reinforcement ONLY. Failure to abide by these strict training rules will result in the dog removed from your care and your immediate removal from our foster team.
You understand some rescue dogs take time to decompress and show their true colors. Our minimum requirement for fostering is 10 days.
You understand that vet visits/emergency care is to be decided and scheduled by the HSD team. Any vet visits or expenses completed without our express permission will be at the Foster Fams cost.
You understand the dog being trusted into your care is the property and under legal possession of HSD until a formal adoption contract has been signed and adoption fee paid.
