HCISD Top Flight Sports Camp
The HCISD Top Flight Sports Camp is designed to introduce running mechanics and athletic movements to early adolescents establishing foundational movement bases for athletics as well as incorporating sport specific skill work, particularly to football, volleyball, basketball, soccer and others.

Week 1 ( June 5th - 8th )
Location: Boggus Stadium
Time: Breakfast - 7:30 AM
Soccer/Track Camp - 8 AM - Noon
Lunch - Noon - 12:30 PM
Soccer/Track: Join us on the pitch of Boggus Stadium as we learn, develop and refine your soccer skills and running form. We'll teach you how to dribble, pass, shoot, and score through a series of drills and games designed to make you an unstoppable soccer player. We'll take time to work on your running mechanics to make you a blur on the track. Our number one goal is to have as much fun as possible, so if you're a soccer hooligan or a running fool, join us for Top Flight Soccer/Track as we grow and develop our future Cardinals and Hawks!
Items to Bring: Cleats (If you have them), Tennis Shoes, Water, Soccer Ball, Sunscreen, Athletic Clothes
Ball and Water will be provided but may bring your own.
Week 2 ( June 12th - 15th )
Location: Boggus Stadium
Time: Breakfast - 7:30 AM
Football/Track Camp - 8 AM - Noon
Lunch - Noon - 12:30 PM
Football/Track: Are you ready for some football!? Then it's time to hit the gridiron with Top Flight Football/Track as we set out to build our future Friday Night Stars. During this week, we'll teach you how to throw, carry, run routes, catch, and tackle as well as develop good running mechanics, balance, and technique as it pertains to football and track. We'll play different games, run relay races, and have a whole lot of fun out on the turf/track of Boggus Stadium.
Items to Bring: Cleats (If you have them), Tennis Shoes, Water, Sunscreen, Athletic Clothes
Water will be provided but may bring your own.
Week 3 ( June 19th - 22nd )
Location: Dr. Abraham P Cano Freshman Academy Gymnasium
Time: Breakfast - 7:30 AM
Basketball Camp - 8 AM - Noon
Lunch - Noon - 12:30 PM
Basketball: Calling all future Cardinals & Hawks! It's time to hit the hardwood for Top Flight Basketball. This week is all about hoops as we teach you how to dribble, pass, shoot, rebound, and defend like an all star. You'll learn about teamwork and footwork as we do work on the court with drills and games that will have you playing like an MVP. Join us at Dr. Abraham P Cano Freshman Academy Gymnasium as we teach you to "Be Like Mike".
Items to Bring: Basketball Shoes (If you have them), Tennis Shoes, Water, Athletic Clothes
Water/Basketballs will be provided but may bring your own.
Week 4 ( June 26th - 29th )

Time: Breakfast - 7:30 AM
Volleyball Camp - 8 AM - Noon
Lunch - Noon - 12:30 PM
Volleyball: Want to learn how to bump, set, and spike it like the Cardinals & Hawks do? Then come join us at Dr. Abraham P Cano Freshman Academy Gymnasium as we teach you how to grow your volleyball skills. We'll take you through a series of drills and games that will not only make you better as a volleyball player, but also be a whole lot of fun. Come close out our Top Flight Summer Program with Volleyball and end your summer on a high note.
Items to Bring: Tennis Shoes, Water, Athletic Clothes
Water/Volleyballs will be provided but may bring your own.
