Purpose: This review is to objectively evaluate the performance of the manager and to establish their strengths and pinpoint weaknesses. It provides the opportunity to further develop essential duties and responsibilities, improve leadership and management skills, and adhere to Company Policies and Procedures.
Instructions: Use the employee's job description to address specific duties and skills. Provide examples that justify the rating given. Be specific in areas that need improvement. Following the rating system detailed below.
Rating System
- Exceptional - Performance far exceeded expectations due to exceptionally high quality of work performed in all essential areas of responsibility, resulting in an overall quality of work that was superior. The employee mastered job responsibilities and showed contribution in support of business objectives.
- Satisfactory- Performance met expectations in essential areas of responsibility, some deficiencies exist requiring additional guidance and assistance. The quality of work overall was good.
- Needs Improvement- Performance was consistently below expectations in most essential areas of responsibility, and/or did not make reasonable progress toward critical goals. The employee needs significant improvement in one or more important areas. A corrective performance plan is needed.
