Dear Applicant,
Thank you for caring about Brentwood; we appreciate that you are generously considering to donate your time to serve our community as a volunteer advocate on the Brentwood Community Council (BCC). We are accepting applications for two-year terms as vacancies arise. In addition to a Representative position, individuals may apply to be on one of the Standing Committees of the BCC -- please find a list of possible options in the application, below.
You may offer to volunteer at any time by contacting the BCC at info@bcc90049.org.
In order to apply, Applicants must agree to:
1) Read the Brentwood Community Council Seat Requirements and BCC Code of Conduct
2) Commit to representing the interests of your particular constituency and proactively advocate on behalf of the BCC and your BCC Representative position;
3) Be an active user of E-mail and have the ability to download and read documents via computer or mobile devices;
4) Attend all BCC meetings with no more than 3 absences per year. BCC meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. on the Second Wednesday of each month in Brentwood and willingness to participate on committees.
5) Pay Annual dues of $150 no later than February 1 of each year.
