BEFORE THE COMPETITION

Be sure to prepare before the competition. This helpful checklist will help you be ready before you arrive to the competition.
Do you know your contestant number. You will not be called by name

Do you have your original music for the competition? (no photo copies)

Are your measures numbered?

Yes, my measures are numbered
Did you write your contestant number on the top of your music?

Yes, I wrote my contestant number on top of my music
Dress appropriately. Rooms may be warm so dress nicely but not too warm

I have my appropriate clothes ready!
DURING THE COMPETITION

Remember these few important items on the day of the competition
Warm-up when it’s your turn to perform. Try out the piano with a scale or exercise your teacher has prepared for you
