IOE Grant Application Form
Instructions:-

Eligibility Criteria
1. Innovation Grant is a funding support to be provided to innovators/aspiring entrepreneurs at the idea/technology demonstration stage.
2. The proposed idea should be Technology/Science based innovative / disruptive idea.
3. Ideas or Innovations should have a roadmap towards commercialization.
4. IP ownership should be either with IIT Bombay or with the applicants. If IP is owned by a third party, the applicant must have an exclusive right to use IP
5. Applicant must be:
  a. Either
  - IITB Student, Alumni, Employees/Staff
  - Innovator/Entrepreneur with IP from IIT Bombay
  Association with a faculty member from IIT Bombay will be preferred.
  b. Individual Innovator with or without startup. If the applicant is individual, should be an Indian Citizen with a government approved proof of nationality such as a valid passport, voter’s id etc. If the applicant already have created a startup, the startup must be as as per the DPIIT definition.
  c. The applicant should have a requisite skill set or background.
  d. If the applicant works with other innovators in a team, there has to be an agreement among the team about the lead innovator who would apply, and the funds will be transferred to the lead innovator’s account (after selection). IP generated would vest with the innovator or with the team as per the agreement and it would be further taken for commercialization.
  e. If the applicant has a startup, it should not have raised funds more than INR 50 lacs
Other Terms
1. Applicant must have or should be ready to have a faculty mentor associated during program duration
2. Applicant has to be preincubated with SINE for fund support program
3. Innovation grant can not be availed more than once for the same project
4. The applicant should not avail multiple grants under IOE Innovation Grant Program
