  • St. Paul Jewish Federation touches so many parts of our Jewish community, from synagogues, schools, and social service agencies, to art institutions, youth programs, and more. Check if you are interested in learning more about the programs in our community.

  • PJ Library, a program of the St. Paul Jewish Federation and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, provides free Jewish children's books and music to families with kids aged six months to 12 years old. The program, supported by generous donors: Hymanson Family Fund, Dr. Rick and Diane Smookler Family Foundation, William Lipschultz Endowment Fund, George Kaplan Foundation, and Dr. Stephen & Nancy Lane, offers age-appropriate content that covers Jewish holidays, folktales, and values. These engaging and educational resources, events, and programming help families connect with their Jewish heritage and community.

  • The Shalom Baby Program is designed to celebrate and support new or soon-to-be parents in the greater Saint Paul Jewish community. This program aims to connect families to the local Jewish community and provide support during their parenting journey. Participants receive a package containing Jewish books, keepsake items, helpful resources, and a special message from Saint Paul clergy. The Shalom Baby Program team is available for any questions or concerns, or to arrange virtual or in-person visits or phone calls, ensuring parents feel welcomed and supported.

  • JDC Entwine, a global American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee initiative, empowers young Jewish adults to engage in global responsibility and social action. In partnership with YALA Twin Cities, JDC Entwine offers life-changing experiences and fosters local activism. Participants partake in travel experiences, leadership development, and volunteer opportunities. Alumni return home to share their experiences and inspire peers to become active in their local and global communities.

  • At the St. Paul Jewish Federation, we're dedicated to strengthening our community by investing in youth education and fostering Jewish identity. We support Jewish educational institutions financially, offer scholarships and grants, and offer Israel experiences. By collaborating with local organizations and supporting local initiatives, we nurture a strong connection between young people and the St. Paul Jewish community for a vibrant future.

  • Gesher L'Kesher, a St. Paul Jewish Federation program, actively connects Jewish teens to their heritage, values, and community. The program empowers high school students to embrace their Jewish identity by fostering relationships and leadership skills. Participants engage in educational, social, and community service activities, including peer-led discussions, workshops, retreats, and mentorship opportunities. Gesher L'Kesher creates a supportive environment for Jewish teens to grow, learn, and strengthen their connection to the Jewish community.

  • RAJMN, supported by Genesis Philanthropy Group, St. Paul Jewish Federation, and The Jewish Federations of North America, connects and supports the Russian-speaking Jewish community in Minnesota. The program offers events, educational classes, and Yiddish courses tailored to different age groups, promoting a vibrant Jewish presence in the Twin Cities.

    RAJMN also offers a Teen Fellowship Program, a 10-month school-year program for high school students exploring their identity and leadership potential. Monthly guest speakers cover various Jewish topics while teens engage in leadership activities, fundraising, event planning, and volunteering. RAJMN provides tools, feedback, and mentoring and offers stipends for participants to attend Jewish conferences in the US and worldwide.

  • Passport to Israel is a St. Paul Jewish community program that helps families save for their teens' educational trips to Israel. This initiative aims to strengthen young people's Jewish identity in partnership with participating synagogues and the St. Paul Jewish Federation. Families make yearly deposits in their child's account, which are matched by the synagogue and the Federation. Eligible programs include Alexander Muss High School in Israel, NFTY EIE High School in Israel, Tichon Ramah Yerushalayim (TRY), USY Israel Pilgrimage, and Young Judea Israel Summer Programs.

  • St. Paul's partnership with Sovev Kinneret fosters a living bridge between Israeli and Diaspora Jews, aiming to fortify Jewish identity and forge a united global community with Israel at its core. The partnership offers children's programs, such as school twinning, strengthening connections, and promoting shared learning experiences between young people in both communities.
