Product - Complete Pay
MyDocPay Pty Ltd will fund medical expenses related to your consultation at the medical practice indicated above. The client agrees that these funds are for a limited purpose and cannot be requested, withdrawn, or dispensed in cash or transferred to any other account. MyDocPay Pty Ltd, under the Complete Pay program, will only cover Medicare-related expenses associated with the following MBS Items:

This agreement applies exclusively to services provided at the specified medical practice and for the duration of this agreement.
1. Patient Responsibilities
By agreeing to participate in the MyDocPay program, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- You will participate in diagnostic, assessment, and consultations planned with your GP.
- Upon finalising your visit at the medical practice, you will inform the receptionist that you are using MyDocPay for payment processing.
- You consent to MyDocPay communicating with the nominated medical practice regarding billing and payments on your behalf if required.
- By agreeing to these terms, you consent to MyDocPay Pty Ltd collecting and holding Medicare rebate benefits amounts on your behalf for services paid for under the Complete Pay program, in accordance with the Health Insurance Act 1973 (Cth) and applicable privacy laws
- If required, you agree to transfer any Medicare rebate amount received into your nominated bank account for services covered by MyDocPay to MyDocPay within five (5) business days. This can be done via EFT, over the phone, or in person at the medical practice.
- If you fail to transfer the Medicare rebate amount as required, MyDocPay may issue a written notice requesting payment. If the rebate is not provided within 10 business days of this notice, MyDocPay reserves the right to recover the outstanding amount through appropriate legal or debt recovery actions.
- Your participation in MyDocPay may be terminated if you repeatedly fail to transfer rebates owed.
- You will participate in feedback to share insights about your experience using MyDocPay.
2. Legal and Compliance Considerations
MyDocPay Pty Ltd operates in accordance with the Health Insurance Act 1973 (Cth), the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009, the Responsible Buy Now, Pay Later and Other Measures Act 2024, and all other applicable Australian laws and regulations.
Participation in the Complete Pay program does not alter, override, or replace any Medicare entitlements or legal obligations you may have as a patient.
By agreeing to these terms, you authorise MyDocPay Pty Ltd to process, receive, and hold Medicare rebate benefits on your behalf through your MDP Wallet for services funded under the Together Pay program, in compliance with the Health Insurance Act 1973 (Cth) and relevant privacy legislation, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
MyDocPay will provide at least 14 days’ notice of any material changes to these terms or related policies.
3. Privacy and Data Collection
MyDocPay Pty Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy and personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
- MyDocPay will only collect, use, and disclose personal and billing information necessary for processing payments and coordinating with your medical provider.
- Your information will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
- Patients can request access to or deletion of their personal data in accordance with privacy laws.
4. Termination and Refund Policy
- Patients may withdraw from the MyDocPay program at any time, provided that all outstanding balances are settled.
- MyDocPay reserves the right to terminate participation for patients who repeatedly fail to comply with payment obligations.
- Refunds are not available for services already rendered and paid for under this program.
5. Medical Practice Responsibilities
- The participating medical practice is responsible for accepting MyDocPay payments in a timely manner.
- If a practice refuses to accept MyDocPay for payment, MyDocPay will assist in resolving the issue, but it will not be responsible for any disruption to services.
6. Use of the MyDocPay App
- While participation in testing the MyDocPay app is encouraged, it is not mandatory.
- Patients who cannot or choose not to use the app will have alternative workflows available for payment processing.
7. Dispute Resolution
- Patients may dispute any incorrect or fraudulent charge by contacting MyDocPay's customer service within 30 days of the charge.
- If a dispute cannot be resolved, patients may escalate concerns to the Commonwealth Ombudsman or the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA).
8. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
- MyDocPay reserves the right to update these terms as necessary.
- Patients will be notified of any significant changes via email at least 14 days in advance.
- Continued participation in MyDocPay after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Failure to comply with these terms may result in termination of participation in the MyDocPay program. Outstanding payments owed to MyDocPay will be subject to recovery as per Australian consumer laws.
