FUNCTION:To manage the daily operations of the Human Resource Department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Assists the CEO to interpret, monitor, and maintain compliance with Human Resource practices required by the Department of Labor, Wage & Hour, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, CARF Accreditation, and other lawmaking groups by keeping informed of current laws affecting Human Resources
2. Gives input into training related to laws governing employment practices to staff and support staff
3. Reviews all personnel files on a routine basis for completeness and proper documentation
4.Oversees the posting of job openings in house and informs proper agencies of openings
5. May conduct orientation, and complete necessary paperwork for new hires
6. Ensures compliance with FMLA and Workers Compensation rules and cases
7. Assists the CEO in the management of benefits programs
8. Updates and maintains HR database.
9. Investigates HR complaints.
10. Assists the CEO in the administration of the Staff Development Program
11. Assists the CEO with recommending, evaluating and updating the key HR tracking
12. Performs other duties as assigned by the CEO
