2025 REGISTRATION FORMS Logo
  • Welcome to Hudson Valley Improv (HVI)!

Below you will find General Rules,  Registration Form, Waiver Release Form, An Illness Protocol, Code of Conduct as well as a place for you to upload a photo.

Please fill out and get back to us PRIOR to your first class or performance. This form will serve you for all of your participaion in classes and student shows for the year 2025.

    • Students are no longer required to show proof of vaccination, yet we ask that you be mindful about your health when coming to class. If you are sick or have symptoms, please alert HVI immediatly. You may be asked to miss class entirely. If that is the case, we do not offer refunds but make ups or discounted repeat classes can be arranged as available and are considered on a case by case basis.
    • Audience is not currently required to provide proof of vaccination or wear masks.
    • When your classes take place in our home studio, NO SHOES ALLOWED IN STUDIO. Please wear socks or slipper (no bare feet). You have to enter our home, slip off your shoes at the door and walk to the studio in the middle of the house.
    • When at our home studio, the room is large but not big enough for all of us to be 6 feet apart at all times. If social distancing is required again, classes will most likely not be live and in person.
    • The class is very physical but we stress that you go at your own pace and keep your hands to yourself. Bring water.
    • Attendence is required. Please make every effort to attend all classes, unless you are unwell. Improv is an ensemble sport and your participation matters.
    • HVI encourages students to keep their improv "clean" and creative. Besides it allowing all audiences to enjoy our work, we think avoiding "blue humor" and the like is more creative. Slips happen, it's improv afterall, but our goal is inclusive, inspiring work that allows everyone to laugh.
