The Summer Youth Work Program is designed to provide you with educational, employment and training opportunities. Local employers are providing work opportunities to support this program. Your success in the program requires that you fully participate.
Summer Youth Works Program Requirements
1. Participant will report to the work site based on the site work schedule.
2. The participant will report to the work site on time and ready to work.
3. The participant will follow the pre-established dress code for the work site.
4. The participant will follow all work site rules and procedures, particularly those involving cell phone usage.
5. Participants will communicate with their Goodwill Case Manager on a regular basis and return phone calls and texts in a timely manner.
6. Participants will communicate work site issues to their Goodwill Case Manager.
7. Participants understand that the work site has the right to suspend a participant's employment if they choose. In this case, Goodwill may find another suitable site.
8. Participants will be evaluated on their behavioral and job task performance.
9. If the participant does not follow established worksite or Goodwill rules, they may not be able to continue participation in the summer program.
10. If the participant has chosen to do Zoom Training or Career Exploration Wednesdays, they must make every effort to attend. If they cannot attend for a session, they must call off to their Case Manager.
