hereby appoints Falcon Logistics Global Inc. as the Authorized Agent to file all information required under the Importer Security Filing (10+2) program on behalf of our organization.
We understand all ocean importers are required to maintain a bond to guarantee ISF compliance. The ISF bond is not insurance and as the importer we understand we are fully responsible for any ISF Penalties as the bond principal. If we authorize a foreign entity to report the ISF required data elements, we understand we are responsible for penalties resulting from ISF violations.
We understand it is our responsibility as importer to have full knowledge of the ISF accuracy and to provide to Falcon Logistics Global Inc. 3 business days prior to laden on the vessel to ensure a timely filing with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. We further understand it is our responsibility to vet the transmitted ISF information and subsequently Falcon Logistics Global Inc. with more accurate information, if need be, 24 hours prior to the cargo arriving in the first U.S. port.
Falcon Logistics Global Inc. agrees to provide visibility of the transmitted information and ISF Transaction Number and any amendments upon requests.
