Shelter Dog Walker Volunteer Form For June 3rd Tails & Trails Event

For National Trails Day Tails & Trails Event at Walnut Creek June 3rd, 2023
Please sign up to be a volunteer shelter dog walker at the Tails & Trails Event at Walnut Creek. The shelter dogs appreciate the opportunity to get out of the shelter for some fresh air, sunshine, extra pets, and exposure to potential adopters!
- Volunteer dog walkers must be at least 18 years of age.
- Volunteer shifts will be approximately 30 minutes. The dogs will need a break in the air-conditioned trailer between walkers so we do not over-stress them.
- The trailer holds 12 dogs so depending on how many volunteers sign up as walkers will determine the number of shifts we can create.
- The dogs are available for adoption so if you're in the market for a new pet, this is a great opportunity to meet them and spend some time together.
- Please check in at the shelter trailer when you arrive to choose a dog and start your shift.
- The event will be on June 3, 2023, from 10AM - 1PM only.
