For questions about the nomination process or general 2023 Tech 50 inquiries, please contact majorprograms@pghtech.org.
An email confirmation will be sent to the form submitter when the form is received. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact us at the email address above as soon as possible to ensure that your nomination was received.
Nominees may be privately held, publicly traded, or non-profit. Independent operating subsidiaries located in Pittsburgh/Southwestern PA are also eligible.
Companies selected as Finalists will be required to take part in an in-person interview to film footage for the 2023 Tech 50 Awards. We will revise this rule to include potential virtual video shoots as needed.
We request that CEOs of Finalist companies, especially CEO of the Year finalists, make every effort to attend the 2023 Tech 50 awards ceremony.
Finalists will be given the opportunity to participate in the Tech 50 Showcase of Innovation. This pre-event reception includes an exhibit table and room for a pull-up banner/marketing literature to showcase your company's products/services.
An independent panel of judges from the Tech Council, member organizations, and sponsors will review all submissions.
Nomination and eligibiity period is May 11, 2023, through July 28, 2023.

Associated Costs

There is no cost to submit a nomination for 2023 Tech 50.
All attendees of 2023 Tech 50, including Finalists, must pre-register and purchase a ticket or table to attend the awards ceremony. Early registration discounts will be available.
There will be a separate VIP Reception on a date prior to the awards ceremony to celebrate the Finalists at no charge. Two (2) representatives from each Finalist company will be invited to attend.
While Finalists must normally be Tech Council Members in good standing of the Pittsburgh Technology Council on the day of Tech 50 (November 16, 2023), all companies are encouraged to nominate at this time.
If a Finalist company would like edited footage from the video production company's material, there will be a nominal fee for any post-production editing. A quote will be provided by the video production company at the Finalist's request.
