General Information:

The Lanesboro Area Art Trail (LAAT) is a collaborative effort formed by and representing individual artists who create fine art in and around the Lanesboro area. LAAT’s focus is providing a one on one experience between artists and studio visitors, in the environment where the artists create. Artists interested in participating will be juried based on several key criteria including but not limited to studio location and balance of mediums represented.  Participating artists must be available all three event weekends.

10am - 5pm daily

Tour Area - approximate 10 mile radius of downtown Lanesboro MN

Artists must submit a MINIMUM of three high resolution photos of work. Additional photos of work, artist working or interior and exterior studio photos are encouraged. 

2023 Fees:
Artist Location - $175 individual studio or workspace locations
Gallery/Shop - $300 commercial locations representing more than one artist's work

Returning artists may use the electronic payment option at the end of this application or send  a check payable to Sue Pariseau (LAAT), mailed to Sue Pariseau PO Box 19 Lanesboro MN 55949. New artists will be notified of acceptance which will include payment options and instructions.

Participating artists receive individual listing on our Promitional materials with photo, information and location on map as well as an individual page on our website.

Shop/Gallery participants receive a listing of the shop in our promotional materials with photo information and location on the map as well as a listing on our  website. Gallery listings do not make mention of specific artists presenting at this locaiton.

By submitting this application, you are indicating that you understand and agree to the following Lanesboro Area Art Trail policies:

• Participating artists must open their studio space to the public all scheduled hours of LAAT weekends and personally be present to discuss their processes, engage with visitors and offer a body of work for sale.
• Artist’s location must be a studio/work space. Galleries and spaces representing work of other artists should apply as a participating shop/gallery.
• LAAT representative may request a tour of proposed location
• Participant agrees to allow LAAT to use information and photos for promotional purposes.
• Excluding gallery locations, any artist displaying work during LAAT must jury into, register and pay the LAAT event fee to qualify. Guest artists are not allowed unless they have also applied to participate in LAAT.
• All proceeds of sales belong to the artist and each artist is responsible for collecting and reporting sales tax.

Failure to comply with any of these requirements can result in the artist being excluded from participating in the event the following year.
