Welcome to the 3rd Annual "Rowdy Round-Up" Cheer and Dance Competition, part of the 2025 Cheyenne County Fair & Rodeo. Before registering, please read the following important information regarding the competition.

• All dance squads will be required to present a dance routine that is at least 1 (one) minute in length but does not exceed more than 2 (two) minutes in length
• All cheer squads will be required to present a school/squad cheer along with a dance routine that is at least 1 (one) minute in length but does not exceed more than 2 (two) minutes in length
• UCA and UDA rules will be followed
• The fair board, along with volunteers, are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur
• Competition will be held in the fairgrounds exhibit building on a ground level stage

Trophies will be awarded to each division winner as well as other prizes. Additionally, Top Gun awards will be given out in categories such as jumps, turns, tumbling, etc.

Please complete the registration form on the next page. Registration is due by end of day on July 10, 2025. Tentative schedule of competition will be sent out by July 15th.

Thank you for entering the 1st annual Cheyenne County Fair & Rodeo "Rowdy Round-Up" Cheer and Dance Competition! 

Location: Cheyenne County Fairgrounds located just west of Sidney, NE on highway 30.

Arrival Time: Contest starts at 10:00 am MST. Please arrive no later than 9:30 am for check-in.

Music: Please bring your music on an electronic device that can connect to sound system via auxillary cord.

Introduction: Please bring a note card containing information about your team for an introduction.

Rules: UCA and UDA rules apply!

Judging: The judge will evaluate each team in the areas of Presentation, Execution, Choreography, and Difficulty.

Photography: A photographer will be available to take pictures of performances. Pictures will be emailed after the event.

Food: Food vendors will be available.
