Membership Descriptions
Booster Membership:
$30.00 per family. Membership valid 9/1/2023 through 8/31/2024.
Any skater wishing to participate in our club events such as our Christmas exhibition, banquet and our annual ice show must be a booster club member.
This includes one listed adult and any minor children in the same family.
Some of the additional benefits include:
- 1st priority on contracted freestyle ice
- Free Gold Medalist jacket when passing a senior level testing through USFS
- Discounted camps and clinics our club holds
We encourage parents to attend regular scheduled meetings held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm.
To be considered an active member you must attend 5 booster club meetings (one can be proxied) during our membership year. Active members also receive voting privileges and volunteer chair eligibility also if the active member attends their
meetings in August through February, you will also receive a $25 credit for ice show costumes.
The listed adult will receive meeting minutes and any other club communications by email, if another adult wishes to be added to the communication we require written permission from the listed adult member.
If you are unable to attend the booster club meetings due to work or armed service commitments a letter can be submitted for board approval by 7 pm on 10/10/2023.
Volunteer Requirements:
Our club is volunteer based, without the help of all our members we would not be able to successfully hold our events for our skaters.
We require each member to volunteer a minimum of:
- 4 CLUB hours that can be fullfilled throughout the season
- ISI Competition- 4 required hours (only if your skater participates)
- USFS Competition - 2 required hours (only if your skater participates)
- Ice Show - 2 shows for our annual Ice Show (only if your skater participates)
- 1 Show must be Ready Room - Safesport compliance required
- 1 Show can be any other volunteer position - Safesport compliance may be required
Failure to complete your volunteer requirements will result in a $200 fine. Members with chair positions will satisfy that event's requirements as you are required to be available to cover throughout the entire event. (Ice Show Chair will fulfil your Ice Show requirements only).
Open chair positions and volunteer opportunities will be communicated as they
become available. To participate in our competitions an additional membership is required. To participate in our ice show skaters must skate in all 3 class sessions from September through February and the listed adult member must be compliant with SafeSport by 2/28/2024.
