The Council of State Governments (CSG) National Vice Chair 2024
The CSG West Nominating Committee is accepting applications from Western legislators interested in serving as a CSG National officer, a position that opens every four years. The position of 2024 CSG National Vice Chair will be open, irrespective of party affiliation. The legislator that is nominated by the CSG West Executive Committee and elected by the CSG National Executive Committee will succeed to the role of chair in 2026.
Requirements:
- Applicants must be members of the CSG West Executive Committee
- Complete the online application by Tuesday, July 18.
- Submit a minimum of one letter of support from your legislative leadership and/or other members to serve in this position.

Applicant Interviews:

Applicants for the position of CSG National Vice Chair will be scheduled for an interview with the CSG West Nominating Committee during the 76th CSG West Annual Meeting in Universal City, California. Applicants will be advised on specific time and place for their interview in a subsequent communication.
