POSITION: MEDICAL COURSE DEVELOPER STUDENT INTERN

Its unique online training platform blends the best of online and experiential learning with realistic 3D video, "pick a path" scenarios and other features to deliver on Survival Med's mission to help everyone everywhere prepare to respond in emergencies.
Description & Responsibilities
You'll participate in medical literature research and assist in the development of online wilderness and general medicine courses and training materials for healthcare professionals.
This role is supervised by a physician, may include co-author credit on physician CME courses, and provides the opportunity to strengthen your residency application file and CV with valuable experience and letters of recommendation.
Minimum Requirements
- MS1 or higher
- Level 5 primary fluency in U.S. English
While not required, the following capabilities are a bonus:
- Experience in abstracting or summarizing medical literature
- Experience in explaining medical information to a professional or lay audience
- Familiarity with remote work via Zoom, chat and online collaboration tools
College Credit
This role offers the opportunity for elective credit for MS4 students.
We will coordinate with your university as needed to support your request for college credit.
Duration
We work with your academic schedule. Typical project durations include:
- The summer block between MS1 and MS2
- 2-week or 4-week periods that align with elective periods for MS4s
- Semester- or quarter-long longitudinal projects
Work Schedule & Location
Working hours are flexible. Weekly or bi-weekly Zoom meetings will be required.
You can work from any location in the world that has reliable high-speed internet access.
Compensation & Future Employment
This internship is unpaid and does not entitle students to paid employment following the end of internship.
