San Japan 14 (2023) Artist Alley Application Form - Indie Booth
Before we start, here's the number one reason that will DENY YOUR APPLICATION.
Sales Tax ID Invalid OR Inactive.

Make sure your Texas Sales Tax ID looks like this. Not sure it's active or valid? Click on the link below.
Texas Sales Tax ID Lookup Website
This is what we use to validate your Sales Tax ID Number.
Over 10% of all applications are denied every year because of having the tax status as an INACTIVE or INVALID sales tax ID number. This is the NUMBER ONE reason for being denied a table.
The Number TWO reason that someone is denied for the Indie Artist application is having ANY fan art included in their application. This application is intended for ORIGINAL IP artists, WRITERS, and INDIE ART PUBLISHERS.
We will be thoroughly scrutinizing all applications, links, and artist products to ensure that only 100% Original IP will be sold in this section.
San Japan Artist Alley Info Page
This answers most questions received about the San Japan Artists Alley. There is a FAQ on there that answers over 50 questions.
The Rules & Regulations page is linked there too.
San Japan Art Contest
If you don't make it in we have an opportunity for up to 4 winners and 15 finalists to get an artist table.
DO NOT RUSH THE APPLICATION.
This is what causes mistakes especially if you use autofill. When you apply does not give you an advantage at all.
The form is open from May 15th at 11:59 PM Central to July 5th 11:59 PM Central or when we reach 100 applications total.
This is NOT a Fan Art Table Application. Over 50% of applications received in 2022 did not understand this and were denied on their application. Fan Art applications take place in March ONLY. ALL Fan Art Tables have been sold.
Applicants who lie on their applications and then sell fan art products in the Indie Art section will be placed on a permanent ban list. Don't risk it.
