A Cinematic Spectacle at the FRDC
Salmon are closer than we think – often just a whisper away, gliding through local urban streams. That means they’re also vulnerable to the impact of cities in ways we often don’t realize.

From July 1st to September 30th, witness the beauty and struggle of a salmon migration through the heart of the city in virtual reality.

Pre-registration is reccomended. There are only five (5) headsets available during each 30-minute showing and we cannot guarantee availability to walk-in visitors.

WHEN: Wednesday through Sunday, 10:15am or 2:15pm

WHERE: Fraser River Discovery Centre, 788 Quayside Drive, New Westminster, BC V3M 6Z6

WHO: Over 9 years old recommended. The headsets may be heavy for younger visitors.

Masks remain recommended for all participants over five (5).

If you are unable to attend, the fee will be applied to general admission for your next visit to the Centre if you let us know in advance. Should the Fraser River Discovery Centre have to cancel, you will be provided with a full refund.*
