India Festival 2023 Waitlist

We are bringing back India Festival bigger and better than ever before, and a big part of that is your performance.

This year's festival will take place on August 6th from 11am - 8pm at Pioneer Courthouse Square in Downtown Portland. We can't wait to see you there.

Fill out the below form to register. Please only fill out the form when your performance details are finalized. Registrations will be taken on a first-come first-serve basis.

This year, in the spirit of celebrating Indian culture, we are especially emphasizing & requesting traditional, classical, folk, patriotic and ethnic items. We encourage you to be creative and share the uniqueness of your heritage with Portland!

Auditions!
In order to perform, you must attend a mandatory audition on Sunday July 23rd. Instructions for selecting your audition time are on Page 2 of the form.

Guidelines for Performing
- Each participant must pay a $20 participation fee ($10 for college students)
- Each performer can participate in a maximum of 2 performances
- No solo performances for individuals under the age of 12
- Items with less than 4 performers should be 4 minutes or under in length
- Performance length may be reduced during auditions in order to be able to accommodate all performances

Music
We ask that you submit the name and YouTube link for each song that will be part of your performance (even if just a portion of the song will be part of your act). If there is no YouTube link for the song, please enter the name and upload a mp3 file for your music.

Know that we will be strict about separating similar songs in the show order, so selecting extremely popular songs may result in your performance being at a time you don't prefer. We encourage creativity in your song selection!

Multiple Performances
We may ask some of our most diverse and versatile performers to perform twice in the day, both in the morning and the evening, to cater to audiences who come at all times during the day. Please let us know below if you would be willing to perform twice.
