2022 Spring Seminar Registration Form

Special Note on scheduling Post-Covid seminars on zoom, in person, and hybrid:

We are experiencing a slow return to in person seminars as many members prefer the convenience of Zoom: no impediment to being out of town, no driving, no parking; better hearing, and relief from worry about exposing our vulnerable health to endemic Covid.

Locations are subject to change at any time and for any reason, such as changing public health concerns or venue-related complications

In the event of a location change, anyone enrolled in an affected seminar will be notified and given the option to withdraw from the seminar and choose a different option.

If a new location is required, every effort will be made to keep the location as similar to the one that was canceled, for example, staying on the Smith campus but relocating to a different building

ZOOM CLASS PARTICIPATION:

It is strongly recommended that you have a computer, IPad, or other device that has a camera and microphone.
You must have an operating system and browser that are able to support ZOOM.
It is possible to participate in a Zoom session relying only on the telephone; however, having a computer with video camera and free Zoom software promises to provide a more rewarding seminar experience.

AUDITOR STATUS:

Available to all full members of LIR who are currently unable to continue actively participating.
Auditors can participate in hybrid courses only via Zoom. They may not participate in-person.
Auditor status is for an entire semester, not for a single class.
Auditors do not make presentations, but may have reading or other requirements. Please check with the moderator for specific requirements for their seminar.
Auditors will be registered after the lottery. They will be enrolled with permission of the moderator(s) and on a space-dependent basis.

CO-REGISTRATION:

To co-register for your first choice seminar with another LIR member, enter that person's name, and phone or email below.

That person must also submit a registration, and must also indicate the same first choice seminar, and that they wish to co-register with you.

Priority registrations do not apply to co-registrations, and co-registration is not available to moderators or auditors.
