  •  WELCOME TO OUR NEW SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT PROGRAM!
     
    We thank you for your interest in holding an event in our City. The City of Riviera Beach has a new special event permitting process that will streamline the existing system and improve the experience for both applicants and City staff.
     
    Please make sure to familiarize yourself with the information on this webpage as it contains all the information you will need to apply.
     
    If you’d like to host a special event such as a carnival, festival, demonstration, flea market, or concert, you may need a special events permit. This permit is required for any event that uses:
    ·       City-owned or occupied property.
    ·       City equipment.
    ·       City services.

    The Office of Special Events Commitee works with other City departments to make sure that event hosts have all the necessary:
    ·       Permits.
    ·       Licenses.
    ·       Agreements.
    ·       Insurance.
    Submitting an application does not guarantee that you will get a permit. Event organizers should not issue any press releases, post advertisements, or sell tickets until the necessary approvals and permits have been issued.

  • TO REQUEST A REFUND: APPLICANT/RENTER MUST SUBMIT ORIGINAL RECEIPT OR WRITTEN REQUEST TO ADMIN OFFICE. REFUNDS WILL BE PROCESSED WITHIN 4 WEEKS. Please write your name, mailing address and phone number on the back of the original receipt.

  • PLEASE NOTE:

    SECURITY: The need for security by the Police Department will be determined by the City.

    CLEAN-UP: The event applicant is responsible for the clean-up of all event sites. The City of Riviera Beach will provide dumpsters for your event at your request; all dumping fees will be charged to the applicant by the City. If the event site is not cleaned thoroughly, a clean-up charge will be assessed depending on the clean-up required.

    PORT-O-LETS: Temporary restroom facilities may be required and will be determined by the City.

    CROWD CONTROL: Certified crowd control may be required and will be determined by the City.

    By submitting this application you agree to the following:

    The applicant agrees to comply with City Ordinances and the Events Policy and Procedures Manual.

    The applicant agrees to indemnify the city, its employees, agents, volunteers, and elected and appointed officials from any and all claims, demands, judgments, including, but not limited to, any and all such claims, suits, actions, damages, or causes of action arising as a result of the special event, or of the condition of the premises on which the special event is held including any personal injury or loss of life, or damage to or loss of property, and from and against any order, judgments, or decrees which may be entered, and from and against any costs, attorneys' fees, expenses and liabilities incurred in and about the defense or settlement of any claims, and the investigation thereof.

    I have received, read, and understand the Riviera Beach Marina Event Center’s Policies and Operating Procedures document and understand and agree to all the terms and conditions within that document: I am aware that if any of these policies and procedures are violated, I will be charged and held responsible accordingly.
