    Thank you for applying to the Diamond A Rec Association (DARA). If you Household has NOT been a paying member of the Rec in the past three years, please complete the form below so we can process your application. Returning Household members should contact the Rec directly for appropriate next steps.
  • Resident Membership

  • Membership in the Diamond A Recreation Association is available as a matter of right to all owners or residents of property shown on Sonoma County Assessor Map Book 064. These are termed Resident Memberships.

    Renters of property in Diamond A who have signed a lease of at least six months are eligible to purchase a membership subject to the terms described herein. A copy of the signed lease must be submitted immediately following submission of this application. We do not accept membership applications from fractional owners.

    Residents will become members upon completion of this application form, receipt of related documentation, and full payment of the annual dues. 

  • Non-Resident Membership

  • Per the Association's by-laws, up to 15 additional memberships may be available to applicants from the surrounding community. These are termed Non-Resident Members. Non-Resident membership openings shall be approved on a discretionary basis by the Board of Directors, with special consideration given to those who live close to or on Sonoma mountain and either:

    - Grew up in Diamond A and now wish to join the Rec as an adult,

    - Have a close family member who is a current Resident Member, or

    - Have significant ties to the Diamond A community and its residents. (Please note,  your application will need to be endorsed and actively supported by two or more current Resident Member Households. Please identify these members below.)

    If approved, the first two years of Non-Resident Membership shall be viewed as a probationary period. Non-Resident members are expected to participate in scheduled workdays and volunteer to help with as many socials and events as possible. Following the probationary period, the Board of Directors will vote on granting continuing membership to Non-Resident Members.

  • Household Members

  • For both Resident and Non-Resident Members we ask you to include all members of your Household, and to identify each member as an adult or child. A member of the household is any person regularly residing in your Sonoma residence.

  • Please submit your application below for the current Rec season. Once your application is received our membership coordinator will reach out to you to discuss your application and next steps.

    For residents of Diamond A your membership will be complete once you submit all relevant paperwork (if any) and pay your annual dues.

    For prospective Non-Resident members, the Rec Board will review your application at the next applicable board meeting and, if approved, will formally invite you to join the Rec. Please note, board meetings are scheduled aproximately every four to five weeks during the year.  Depending on the timing of your application, the review usually takes 3 - 8 weeks.

    Again, once a member application is approved, you will be sent a link to pay your annual dues by credit card. Dues for the household include access to the Rec and all Rec activities through May 31st.
