  • Roles & Responsibilities for each Job

    1) Sourcing Food

    • Asking local grocery stores and restaurants what they do with their extra food and whether they want to donate 
    • Determine if they are full meals or just one type of food

    2) Coordinating

    • Pick up food from donations and drop it off at certain locations
    • Package meals
    • Coordinate who packages and who picks up the meals to distribute them

    3) Program Delivery Lead

    • Manage operation and development programs
    • Get hands-on Agile Solution Development Experince 
    • Program Management Activities
    • Relationship Managment

    4) Customer Support

    • Responding to emails, examples being requests for food, requests for donation, and partnerships

    5) Content Creation

    • Write articles for the Urban Food Alliance website like how to live on a budget
    • Either be a researcher, writer, or editor

    6) Partnership

    • Research similar organizations that could partner with UFA to be helpful, and request partnerships

    7) Website updating

    • Migrate current website to wix and make regular updates for articles and such
    • Learn wix and some javascript

    8) Business Analyst

    • Assist in figuring out what to move to the new website
    • Look at similar successful businesses to see what we need
    • Coordinate with the website updaters for what needs to be done
    • Bug test website updates, like checking if other platforms and devices work

    9) Data Science

    • Find qualitative data
      • examples: how many people visit our website, what pages of our website are most viewed, how much food we deliver, how many podcast downloads, how many hours are our volunteers spending
    • Make an excel file and charts for our data and progress
    • Keeping track of volunteer hours is very important

    10) Video editing/Podcasting

    • Be given content and edit it for posting
    • Podcasters can either be hosts, sound engineers, or research

    11) Digital Marketing

    • Apply for which platform you would like to work on: Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, Snapchat, or Tiktok
    • Post and grow UFA accounts 

    12) Grant Writing

    • Look at places like amazon or the government programs that give away to food banks, and apply to these grants

    13) Event Management

    • Event planning and coordinating
    • Creating materials like powerpoints
    • Coordinating with speakers
    • Event setup and moderation

    14) Project Management

    • Coordinate with each team 
    • Assiting team leads and members with help they needed
    • Tracking Progress of team success
    • Promote cross-team collaboration
    • Look areas needed help and bring Program Leads attention
    • Weekly recap summary email to members  

    15) AI/ML Solution Development

    • Automaitng front office, back office & customer service activities
    • Gathering requirments 
    • Validate process
    • Design, create and deploy bots and help in automation using AI

    16) Software Engineering

    • Familiar with SDLC Life Cycle
    • Understand DevOps and full stack dev process
    • Design, create and deploy apps
