Income verification is a REQUIREMENT for the NENCAP weatherization program. Please submit ALL income documentation that pertains to ALL household members receiving income. Bank statements cannot be accepted as proof of income. If you househole does not receive income, please contact our office about a WX-16 Income Verifcation Form.
Any of the following are considered acceptable Proof of Income:
- Copies of last 3 consecutive months of paystubs, wages and salaries before deductions.
- Copies of regular payments from union funds, worker's compensation, training stipends, military allotments, alimony, and retirement payments.
- Copy of current award letters showing Social Security, supplemental security income, social security disability, retirements and pensions. We must have award letters or decumentation stating gross monthly receipts.
- Letter showing proof of SSI (Supplemnetal Security Income), ADC (Aid to Dependent Children) or utility assistance such as LIHEAP (Low Income Engergy Assistance Program).
- Self Employed Individuals must submit the first two pages of their most recent income tax return.
