**************** Completion of Be Transformed is required in order to take this class.****************** Scope is offering a two-semester class on the Old Testament, from September 5, 2023, through April 23, 2024. The facilitator will be Darrell Gallear. There will be 29 sessions, from 1:00-2:30, on Tuesdays. Attendance can be in person at the Scope facility or via Zoom. The price is $150 per semester or $200 for both semesters. Old Testament is a required class to be a Certified Biblical Counselor at Scope. The purpose of this course will be to: • Understand the heart of God • See how the human race started o Why God made us o What went wrong • Understand the Mosaic Law o Its purpose o God’s holiness o Our track record • God’s solution to our sin problem o Salvation by faith o Pointing to the really Good News of the New Testament • Application of Be Transformed principles to Old Testament scriptures
