The 95th AAAE Annual Conference & Exposition features an Academic Track for students and recent graduates that includes mentoring and a career exploration fair. An integral part of their experience is an onsite mentorship experience and the opportunity to hear from industry professionals. We need mentors and volunteers for the following sessions in Denver.

 

• Saturday, June 3, 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Student Mixer with the Mentors
• Saturday, June 3, 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Mentor/Mentee Match-up
• Sunday, June 4, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Student Career Exploration Fair

Saturday, June 3, 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Student Mixer with the Mentors
A high-energy "speed networking" session where industry professionals share their knowledge and experience with future aviation leaders. Students will move from table to table. Volunteers are needed to speak with students.

 

Saturday, June 3, 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Mentor/Mentee Match-up
We are looking for professionals in the industry who are willing to share their knowledge and expertise with our student attendees by participating in the 1:1 student mentoring program. Mentors will be paired with a student based on their areas of interest and expertise and will have the opportunity to provide guidance and advice on career paths, job search strategies, and professional development. Mentors are expected to spend some time with the mentee throughout the conference and introduce them to their colleagues and associates.

Sunday, June 4, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
The 95th Annual marks the sixth Academic Relations Committee (ARC) Student Career Exploration Fair. This is an opportunity for professionals to network with our academic attendees, showcase their organizations, and share information about job openings and career opportunities. Organizations can sign up for a tabletop showcasing their airport or company. If you can't attend but still want to send some information about your organization's career opportunities, we will have an area for literature.
