All new teams must complete an Expression of Interest Jot Form.
Current teams have priority for entry.
Season start dates:
Monday - February 3rd 2025
Thursday - February 6th 2025

Team Nomination Fees:
Team Nomination Fees: $135 per team.
Nomination fees are non-refundable.
Acceptance into the competition:
Teams will receive acceptance notifications via email.
Nomination payments must be made by the specified due date in the acceptance email.
Conditions of Entry:
Players:
A minimum of 7 players is required for team nomination.
Players must be registered before the competition's first round.
Team Uniforms:
Teams must have complete uniforms with numbers on the front and back.
Shorts must be uniform in colour across the team or black; singlets must be identical in design and colour.
Due to the number of teams, we recommend new teams purchase reversible singlets.
Game Fee Payments:
Game fees are processed through the TEAMPAY app.
All team members must install the app, and fees will be charged weekly by the team manager.
The Teampay User Guide will be included in your confirmation email.
Game Fees - $100 per team per game, payable 20 minutes before game start.
Registration Fees (per player):
All players must register with BQ/GCCRBA to participate.
Basketball Australia Levy - $5.50 (annually)
Basketball QLD registration fee - $83.92
Gold Coast Basketball - $55 per season
Forfeit Bonds:
New teams must pay a Forfeit Bond of $200, billed in Round 2 through Teampay, along with that round's game fees.
This bond must remain at this amount for the entire season.
Forfeit Fees:
Forfeit fees are as follows for GCSDBL:
• If more than twenty-four (24) hours' notice is given to the Competition Manager — two (2) times the standard game fee.
• If less than twenty-four (24) hours' notice is given — two (2) times the standard game fee plus a $20 admin fee.
• If less than one (1) hour's notice is given — three (3) times the standard game fee.
Team Withdrawals or Disqualifications:
If your team withdraws from the competition during the season – 2 weeks’ notice must be given, your forfeit bond will be used to cover game fees for the 2 weeks.
Gold Coast Basketball can remove any team or player from the competition if they do not abide by the Competition By-laws.
Team forfeit bonds, nomination fees, and registrations will not be refunded if a team/player is disqualified from the competition.
Agreement to Competition Terms:
By entering this competition, participants agree to comply with the GCCRBA Rules and Regulations.
Court Hire and Venue Unavailability:
GC Basketball endeavours to secure competition dates, but fixture changes may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. These can include venue changes, court reassignments, or cancellations and delays of rounds, which are beyond our control.
