Terms and conditions

1. The monthly  fees are
   
   1. 2026   R2 350 
2. A discount of 5% is applicable on fees paid in full by the end of January of each school year.
3. Fees are payable over eleven months. Should a learner be admitted after February, school fees will also be levied for December. 
4. If the parent has not select the quarterly contract option in this agreement, the aftercare services will be invoiced at a rate of
   
   1. 2026 - R240 per day
5. Notice Requirement for long term contract: For parents/guardians who have chosen the long term monthly  contract option for aftercare services at our school,  a school quarter's is required in case they intend to terminate or discontinue the services. Failure to provide the required notice will render the parent/guardian liable for the full quarter's fees, irrespective of the child's attendance. This notice policy ensures effective planning and resource allocation for the school, enabling us to meet the needs of all enrolled children
6. An additional fee is payable for aftercare programs during school holidays. The specific amount of this fee will be communicated to the parent prior to the commencement of the holiday period.
7. Accounts are billed on the 25th of each month and must be paid in full by the 7th of the following month. Interest will accrue at 2% per month on overdue accounts.
8. Any payments made towards the account will be applied first to the oldest outstanding charges, including interest and collection costs.
9. The school reserves the right to deny admission or suspend a student from attending any classes at the primary school until all overdue  fees are paid in full.
10. The school may take legal action to recover any outstanding fees and the person responsible for payment will be liable for all legal costs and expenses incurred by the school.
11. The school may also report any outstanding fees to credit agencies, which may affect the person's credit score and ability to obtain credit in the future.
12. It's important to note that any learner, irrespective if the learner’s account is in arrear,   linked to the debtor  may be precluded from attending school until any delinquent balance, owed by the debtor to Midstream College or Midstream Ridge College,  is settled. Learners  linked to the debtor  refers to other financial agreements of the debtor for learners who attend Midstream College or Midstream Ridge College, or who previously attended one of these schools.
13. The school hereby reserves the unequivocal right to allocate any payment received from a parent or guardian, whether in the form of tuition fees, fines, penalties, or any other outstanding financial obligations, as the school deems fit.
14. For the purpose of debt consolidation, it is permissible to consider all accounts for which the debtor is liable at Midstream College or Midstream Ridge College as a single consolidated debt.
15. In order to ensure the safety and well-being of all children and staff, it is imperative that children be picked up by the designated time. Parents and guardians are advised of the following penalties that will be applied for late pick-ups unless there are strong mitigating circumstances:
    
    • Less than 15 minutes late: R50 fee.
    • 16 to 30 minutes late: R100 fee.
    • Late by more than 15 minutes on over three occasions: R500 penalty.

By signing this electronic form, the undersigned parent or guardian acknowledges and agrees to assume full responsibility for the account associated with the student's enrollment at the school.
