In consideration of my participation in Warrior BBQ's "The Great Hawaiian Smokeout" (WBBQ event) and related activities, and intending to be legally bound thereby, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against the WBBQ hosts Community House of Mission (CHM), Pacific House of Mission (PHM), Association of the United States Army (AUSA, HI Chpt), Kansas City Barbecues Society (KCBS), City & County of Honolulu, and Ft. DeRussy's (US Army Garrison Hawaii) Hale Koa Hotel (with FMWR) and Kuroda Field, and all of the aboves' associates, departments, representatives, successors, and assigns, for any and all injuries suffered by myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators with respect to this WBBQ event. I release all parties above from any exposure to COVID upon me or my guests. Further, I hereby grant full permission to the above associates to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of the WBBQ and related events for any legitimate reason. I grant consent to WBBQ posting the fact of my team entry. In case of cancellation of the contest or unavailability of the event due to any causes that are beyond the above associates’ control, including, without limitation, such causes as war, governmental action or order, act of God, fire, flood, severe storm, strike, labor disputes, or other similar causes this Agreement shall terminate, and the Contestant shall be entitled to the return of the fees for the Contest, less any share which is only fairly allocated to the above associates for required expenses incurred by the Contestant’s entrance. I agree to the terms of this Waiver of Liability, and will abide by the rules of the event, premises, and KCBS contest regulations. Acceptance of all entries is based on a first come basis, however, WBBQ and associates reserve the final right of refusal to any and all teams or registrations submitted.
